Jared is a PhD Chemistry student who has a passionate interest in photography; his photos often focus on the details of the world around him. We had met a few times to shoot whatever looked interesting. In this photo, the evening was bright and a little cold, and it wasn’t a portrait session per se. Rather, I had asked him to briefly look into the lens, and this is the result. The look is genuine & cohesive, the emotion is obvious. The angle of the head adds movement.
